coin.
This coin was hand struck and was made of BILLON, a 24% Silver and 76% Copper mix.
"Billon" is low-grade silver. These coins were struck in low grade silver and look like they are copper.
It is getting harder to find nicer examples of these older coins in nice circulated condition at low prices.
These old authentic cob coins are about the size of a U.S. Dime to Quarter, and sometimes even larger.
