The GS part numbers that have a C prefix before the shape (CC versus C, CMF versus MF) are cylinders, meaning that they have sidewalls. The older GS crystals were later termed regular quality, and the green envelope package crystals with the baby and hammer were, in general, made after the regular quality and before the cylinders and were termed super quality. For the crystals that were made in both regular quality and super quality, when you purchase the one, you will receive the other free. For the crystals made only in regular quality or only in super quality, you will receive a free second crystal as a spare. In other words when you purchase any older crystal that is not a cylinder, you will receive 2 crystals total in your order.

For these reasons, and others, errors do exist. Buyers are responsible to check the photograph, product illustration, measure and determine if the crystal will fit before purchasing. These crystals are being sold retail by the part number, not by the fit, therefore refund requests due to fit will not be accepted, so again, please measure and do not purchase by model name alone.
A couple of additional notes, check both the M79-4 and Gary crystals closely to determine which of those crystals you need. I always appreciate feedback, comments, and photographs too. Hamilton made some really great models! I do have GS crystals for other Hamilton models that are not listed here, as well as many of these in other brands and glass, as well as similar stock for Bulova, Elgin, Gruen, Longines, etc.
