    This is the first time we are offering lots of uncleaned cob coins, we thought we would give it a try. These are just as they were found many years ago. They sat buried under water in the sediment for centuries, now you can try your hand at cleaning them and see what you end up with. You will need a good stiff toothbrush for cleaning them after letting them soak in distilled water for about a month or two, then soaking again in olive oil for up to another 4 weeks before the cleaning starts. You just never know what you will end up with.

We have no idea what the detail will end up like once you soak them and clean them up, but even ONE cleaned up coin may be worth what you pay for the whole lot of 5. These are authentic Spanish Maravedis Cob
    coins. These coins were hand struck and were made of Copper, (we think). It is getting harder to find anyone that offers these older coins in uncleaned and unsearched condition at such a low price.
    These old authentic cob coins are about the size of a U.S. Dime to Quarter, and sometimes even larger.
